I’m a consultant and analyst working in the corporate risk advisory sector. After a decade in China, I'm now back in London and part of the Asia Business Intelligence Team at consultancy G3.
I previously worked for Control Risks, the global risk and security firm, based in Shanghai. This followed several years in the hutongs of Beijing, as well as stints in the southern cities of Changsha and Shenzhen.
While in China, I wrote a regular column for The Diplomat and occasionally published blogs on this site. I've been quoted by media outlets including AFP, Nikkei, The Times and The British Medical Journal.
